3ª ESTAÇÃO represents an unprecedented experience of creation in the search of new forms of scenic language by associating marionettes and contemporary dance.
João Paulo Seara Cardoso, director of Teatro de Marionetas do Porto and Isabel Barros, choreographer of Balleteatro Companhia, created the show based on a research work on the relation of the movement of the marionette and the dancer and the possibilities of scenic harmonization of the two forms of expression. For this work, the Italian composer, Roberto Neulichedl, created an electronical sound universe based on real sounds and the voices of the actors themselves.
3ª ESTAÇÃO tells us about a woman and her memories of loves. On the stage we construct images of bodies and light that make us travel through her inner world, in a setting of autumn and dry red roses.
This show made its debut at the official selection of the Festival Mondial des Théâtres de Marionettes 94.
