O MUNDO DAS MARIONETAS (THE WORLD OF PUPPETS) travels through the puppets’ building processes; it’s a sort of journey into the shows, allowing the audience to contact with the process before the performances, thus discovering in the exhibited pieces its theatrical existence, a sort of soul, and a different side: the latent life as sculptures and works of art.
Once stored in labelled boxes, the objects, puppets, props and scenery are the essential matter of this universe in which we move.
Each new creation is a prime meeting place for many artists and technicians – an enlarged team who deliver a little of their soul every time, maximizing all the work we are now sharing.
Being a space of memory, but also of future, each exhibition will be mainly the sharing, the place of suspension – of the theatrical time, of the representation and the reality that the theatrical metaphor seeks to achieve.
